Great place for an overnight to fish at the marina. Clean room, free breakfast.
Having only a 3.6 rating I was already skeptical. Immediately after opening the door to the room a strong odor of cigarette smoke was lingering in the room, with the smell of some type of deodorizer that the staff tried to cover the smell up with. A few more steps in I realized the whirlpool tub was filthy and the ac unit had leaked all over the carpet and it was soaked. While finding management, a homeless man walked in off the street covered in dirt and no shoes on and was wondering around the lobby, which staff acted like was normal. Needless to say I was refunded my money because they had no other rooms available and they told me the only thing they could do was lay a towel over the carpet where it was wet. I will never return there!
Best value in the area, we always stay here when we visit. You get what you pay for, basic rooms and basic breakfast. A major plus is their dog friendly policy - and only $25! Location is great and the staff is friendly. Room quality is lacking from our last visit, the bath light fixture fell when the door closed- the shower was very low hanging and the water pressure was light. And the tub did not have a plug, which made getting the mud off our dog a pain, luckily there is a great local pet store with self-wash tubs.
Nice staff, comfortable room, good location
This hotel was above what we expected. Driving onto Solomon's Island and the area is just pleasant to look at. Quaint and welcoming vibe the entire time we were there. The hotel was sure to take care of our special request of a "water view" with our jacuzzi room. We were placed in the room closest to the water and the windows even opened - so you were able to enjoy the breezes from the water. The bed was comfortable, the jacuzzi tub was an excellent bonus and the entire staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend the Quality Inn for anyone looking for a stress free stay for a weekend getaway. Make sure to ask for a room with a water view - you won't be disappointed. I also recommend the Maritime Museum (within walking distance) - they have a great museum plus a one-hour boat ride for $7 around the island. And then there is Angler's restaurant on the property - which is a MUST. Thanks again Quality Inn Solomons - Beacon Marina and staff for a great holiday weekend!
