Rooms are a little dated but typically pretty spacious.
Great views from some rooms. Layout makes it so rooms are a long walk to the restaurant and front desk.
I attended a function last night at this hotel. Hotel was nice, clean, and great location. Me and my colleagues had the pleasure of meeting Katrina a bartender at the hotel. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her! The customer service she provided was outstanding and superb. Katrina made us all feel welcome. In the midst of being extremely busy she kept a smile on her face and took the time to make each and every one of us feel recognizied.The service she provided was the absolute BEST. Because of her we want to hold our function at this location next year.
My family stayed here for a wedding September 22-24 I have left reviews on other pages but it seems like you guys respond to this page so I will leave a review here. Check-in was wonderful very fast the first impression of our room wasn't too bad a little dated and Worn. So not until the following morning when I had to get a shower that I noticed there was hair and soap scum all in there shower and tub it had obviously not been cleaned from the prior guests after my shower I had went down and told the front desk they said it would be taking care of. By this time my husband had arrived and was in the room most of the day while I was out getting ready for the wedding. During that time housekeeping came in replaced our towels and left. later that night after the wedding I come back to get a shower and the shower and tub had not been cleaned. Also my husband worked for Environmental Services a hospital for 5 + years so in other words he would clean hospitals he said that the carpet had not been vacuumed in a very long time and nothing had been dusted in a very long time also our lamp was broken. I wasn't the only one that had problems with the rooms being dirty the bride said that the honeymoon suite with absolutely disgusting but I'm sure you guys have already heard from her. With this wedding I'm sure we bought you a couple of thousand of dollars where's the guest staying at your hotel I have never had an bad experience with Holiday Inn so I'm very disappointed.
I stayed at this Holiday Inn after attending the wedding of two close friends. I was in the South Wing, on the third floor. I booked a room on a group deal and ended up paying about $124 for one night. The parking lot is very large, which is great because it looks like a popular spot. It's a bit challenging the find, with how Route 2 parallels H.G. Trueman Rd, but it's not too difficult. The room was really tidy and very comfortable. The pillows were amazing! The blankets were warm. I was just missing heavy curtains for the windows to keep the light or, but I slept with an eyemask on anyway. The bathroom was more than large enough. Check in, even at 11pm, was painless. Check out took only a second. Would absolutely stay here again! So pleased with the stay.
A very aging conference center that gets high marks for it’s peaceful settings and beautiful views. The staff can be a little slow at times but well mannered and friendly.
It can get pricey here, but I have always enjoyed staying here, for the nice wrap around porches located towards the waterfront side of the hotel.
Mornings with coffee here are very zen like when seated on the balcony’s watching the water and boats in the early AM. I hope to return soon.
Very Friendly and helpful staff. Kids eat free!!!
