Good food great prices, friendly helpful staff. Would like to come back sometime. Had Kingfisher burger very good. Daughter had grilled Salmon, and Son in law had Crab Cake sandwich. And a view of the water.
Solid dining experience. Good food and nice selection. One of the better places to eat on Solomon's island.
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Stoney's today.. It was a draw of the straw, and they won. What a nice surprise. Megan was our server, and she was absolutely delightful. Friendly and happy. Very efficient and attentive. She was busy with several other tables, but we were never short on anything.. And the food was wonderful, we both had seafood, the crab cakes were delicious and the fried shrimp was wonderful.. but make sure that you are prepared for the crab dip as an app. and the key lime pie was terrific... Not excessively tart.. yummy. We will return to this wonderful waterfront restaurant on Solomon's Island. Thank-you, Megan and Stoney's, for a lovely evening.
The crab balls are always a win! My wife and I used to come here when we were dating and she lived here. We were coming through the area 10 years later and decided to stop. Seated immediately (of course it was 3pm on a 29 degree Wednesday). Ordered two Albert Specials. They were great! The crab balls were as good as my wife remembered and the roasted red potatoes were extremely good. Nice to know not much seems to have changed since we have been gone.
If there was a half a star, I would have selected it. Very disappointed in the food and manager on duty today. My husband and I ordered the large crispy oysters, which came slaw and fries. The 8 oysters were the size of nickels, and the slaw was rancid with molded shredded carrots. The waitress apologized for the slaw and replaced it with a salad. Thinking that they couldn't screw up a salad, I was mistaken. I went to add the dressing and noticed black mold on the bell peppers slices. We notified the waitress and she took the food then stated she'll talk to the manager. After visiting with her manager (which the manager NEVER came over to the table) they gave us 50% off. Nice for the discount, however we only ate 8 small oysters and a handful of fries. We will never go back!!!!
